Don't judge me...this is supposed to be my lazy/quick'n'easy everyday face routine.
Some people might use more or less products but this is just the way I like it:
A little bit of foundation to cover the red spots on my face (I'm not a big fan of heavy duty foundations...I usually go for the more sheer and natural ones, no matter what season)and concealer to cover my dark circles
A decent eye make up that compliments my eye- and skin tone
A pretty flush on the cheeks
A stained/bitten look on the lips
A matte T-zone (forehead and chin)
Hope you enjoy my Everyday Make Up Look :)
Nars Sheer Glow Foundation in Mont Blanc (Light 2)
This foundation is absolutely perfect! It blends effortlessly (brush or fingers) and leaves a very natural, semi-matte finish. In addition, its longevity is quite impressive!
Besides the poor shade range (mostly yellow toned), this foundation is definitely worth trying!
Make Up For Ever Full Cover Waterproof Concealer in N°4
Best concealer ever!!! Not only does it make my dark circles disappear, but it is also super long lasting without creasing or settling into the fine lines (provided you've set the concealer with powder)!
YSL Touche Eclat in N°2
I use this pen to highlight the inner corners of my eyes. I really like the radiant effect that it gives. Makes me look more awake.
Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder
Brilliant product to set concealer. In fact, it is a really light powder that "adds an invisible lightning boost" due to it's very fine shimmer particles. Moreover, I feel like it adds to the longevity of the concealer which is always nice.
MAC Studio Fix Powder Foundation in NW20
Some people might say this powder looks cakey when applied over liquid or cream foundation but it works absolutely fine for me. It just gives me a little extra coverage where I need it.
Nars Blush in Sin
My definite favorite for this time of the year. If you'd like to see a full review and swatches on my favorite Fall/Winter blushes, click HERE.
MAC Blot Powder
This powder is a true life saver!! I've tried so many mattyfing powders but none of those can hold a candle to MAC's Blot Powder! It keeps my forehead matte for about 6 hours straight!! Love Love Love!!! Mine looks a bit funny because unfortunately, I smashed it. I had to fix it with rubbing alcohol and now, it works perfectly fine again! wohoo
Nars Pro-Prime Smudgeproof Eyeshadow Base
Laura Mercier Caviar Stick Eyeshadow in Amethyst
I could ramble on for pages and pages about the awesomeness of this product! It's so smooth in application, easy to blend and stays put all day long (I sometimes dust the Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder lightly over the top to secure an even longer wear). I definitely feel the need to check out the other colors of the range!
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Pencil in Perversion
Blackest black I've ever tried! It glides on effortlessly and stays put once it sets. However, I would not necessarily recommend it for the waterline...On me, it always turns into a smudgy mess.
Nars Eyelash Curler
L'Oréal False Lash Telescopic Mascara
Separates, lengthens and gives a ton of volume! This has been my favorite for several months now!
MAC Fling Eyebrow Pencil
Matches my ashy blonde/brunette hair perfectly.
Clinique Chubby Stick in Voluptuous Violet (N° 16)
I've been using this non-stop for the last few months. If you don't like the texture and formula of a regular lipstick but still want a pop of color on your lips, these Chubby Sticks are the perfect option!
They are super hydrating/moisturizing, long-lasting, glossy and come in a variety of colors.
Definitely a must-have for the colder months!
P.S. Don't be scared by the color of the lipsticks, they don't apply as dark as they look in the bullet.
Which are your staple products?
